Outreach Weeks: Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures

“Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) ministry offering opportunities in hunting, fishing, and fellowship to our veterans and combat wounded military personnel and their families. Our goal is to facilitate the healing of spirit, soul, and body through outdoor activities at NO COST to these heroes.”

Our annual Outreach Weeks are happening right now, and we have thoroughly enjoyed showing you countless non-profit organizations throughout our area. Today, we will be shining a light on yet another fantastic organization – Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures.

About Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures

Jeep Sullivan’s Outdoor Adventures is all about taking life outside, into the wild and on the water. This is coupled with Christ-centered ministry that seeks to address and heal the mental wounds related to combat, particularly those wounds related to PTSD. This organization focuses on ensuring that our warriors are not forgotten by incorporating them into an ever expanding network of good men and friendships that will last long after the outdoor adventure is over. To find out more about the specific adventures that this organization offers, visit their Facebook Page or their website.

Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures is owned by Jeep and Meg Sullivan. They are some of the sweetest servants around, and it has been such an honor to partner with them over the years.

ATO Walk Hard Event

What is Walk Hard? Walk Hard is a 6-day, 128.3-mile charity hike from Troy, Alabama to Panama City Beach, Florida. Brothers of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity participate in this hike during their spring break each year.  Ultimately, this walk raises money and awareness for the Wounded Warriors and Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures. Walk Hard began in March of 2010, and has been a very successful event ever since. They even received Troy University’s most highly acclaimed philanthropy event award! The ATO guys typically come to Eagle Eye around the time of their event in order to raise money and awareness. Stay tuned to our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages to get updates on the Walk Hard Event happening in the spring of 2019.
